Consider: Gartner predicts that within a year, half of B2B invoices will be paid without manual intervention, further increasing to\u00a080% by 2030.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">We\u2019re not there yet\u2014recent research\u00a0suggests that, today, 57% of invoice data still needs manual entry\u2014but it\u2019s clearly coming soon. That\u2019s because the speed, capacity, cost savings, and accuracy delivered by modern intelligent document processing (IDP) are nearly impossible to resist. And adoption will accelerate even more as generative AI (GenAI) powers big leaps forward in IDP\u2019s capabilities, robustness, and ease of implementation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">UiPath is one of the major innovators in the IDP space. Our IDP innovation and product strategy can be summed up like this: leverage automation, specialized AI, and GenAI to blast through IDP roadblocks that historically have inhibited its adoption. These roadblocks include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"richText-styled-list\">\n<li class=\"richText-styled-list-items\">\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">Challenges in handling high variability in document formats<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"richText-styled-list-items\">\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">Difficulty in handling unstructured data<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"richText-styled-list-items\">\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">Laborious model training<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"richText-styled-list-items\">\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">Scalability limitations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"richText-styled-list-items\">\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">Security concerns<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">Over the past year or so, we have made notable strides forward in addressing these issues. This year, we had the highest ratings for both \u2018vision and capability\u2019 and \u2018impact in the market.\u2019<\/p>\n<div class=\"sc-1251qwf-0 kKujRA\" data-cy=\"image-Container\">\n<div class=\"MuiContainer-root MuiContainer-maxWidthLg\" data-cy=\"Image\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">So, with that as the backdrop, let\u2019s take a look at the ways we are combining automation, specialized AI, and GenAI to take IDP to the next level and make it an even more irresistible value proposition.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"sc-tfo41-11 fuZduC\">Using foundational LLMs to tackle unstructured data challenges<\/h2>\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">One of the ways we have pushed past existing boundaries in IDP is through our use of foundational LLMs like GPT-4, which are trained on diverse datasets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-tfo41-7 bzgCvz\">We have incorporated new\u00a0GenAI capabilities\u00a0throughout our existing products. For example, we now use LLMs within UiPath Document Understanding, which has greatly improved our ability to accurately process freeform unstructured documents like legal agreements, contracts, and emails, at high scale.
